A native of Dublin, Ronan McCrea has graduate degrees in law and political science and is professor of constitutional and European law at University College London. He is a member of the Bar of England and Wales and the Bar of Ireland and is a former judicial clerk at the European Court of Justice. He commentates frequently on EU affairs and legal matters for The Irish Times, The Irish Independent, The Financial Times, RTE, BBC, TG4, and Sky News.
