Mícheál Ó hÉanaigh

Chief Executive - Údarás na Gaeltachta

Mícheál is the Chief Executive of Údarás na Gaeltachta. He served as Director of Enterprise, Employment, Property and Engineering with Údarás from 2015 up to his appointment as Chief Executive in September of 2017. Mícheál spent sixteen years as Director of Services with Donegal County Council with specific responsibility for Community, Culture, Planning & Economic Development. In this role he was also Chief Executive of the Donegal County Development Board. He also spent periods working with local and community development organisations in Inishowen, Co. Donegal. Mícheál has also spent periods working in the local development sector, the community and voluntary sector, rural development, education and also a period with the Department of Agriculture and Food (pilot integrated rural development programme).
